Come on.... It's Danny Elfman (5 stars)
A very simple composition, yet one that is lush with dark romantic undertones that compliment the film beautifully. Really hoping he ends up doing the scores for both Darker and Freed as well. (4.5 stars)

Danny Elfman does it again!!! (5 stars)
This is absolutely amazing!!!! Danny Elfman is the best choice for the music!!! He really captures the darkness of the film/book and how deep the feelings that Ana and Christian have for each other!!

If you are a huge fan of motion picture scores this is a very good one to have in your collection. Especially if you love Danny Elfman!!

Everything Danny Elfman does touches one. I discovered in his film “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, and have followed him ever since. His compositions have depth, interesting harmonics, and melodies that soar. If you like music that has a thoughtful, maybe even intellectual bent, you’ll love this soundtrack.

Best known for his work in collaboration with director Tim Burton, composer Danny Elfman created one of the most distinctive bodies of work in contemporary film music, bringing his talents to a dark fantasy world populated by superheroes, monsters and freaks. The son of novelist Blossom Elfman, he was born May 29, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas; raised in Los Angeles, he and brother Richard relocated to France in 1971, where he joined a theatrical group.
