Moving up. (5 stars)
I got this CD several months ago because I backed their album project, and let me just say that this CD is completely different than anything I’ve listened to from them. It’s more mature, catchier, honest, romantic, extremely well-produced, and Josh and Nicole sound better than they ever have before. It seems to me that record deals usually produce less honest and relevant music, but the time and effort Elenowen put into this record was

Refreshing. (5 stars)
I first heard Elenowen play when they were on tour opening for Matt Wertz. I instantly fell in love with their music. The only word I can't think to describe their sound is 'pure'. There's just such passion in their music. It's just so much more real than most of the music out there now a days. It's incredibly refreshing. Josh and Nicole are also two of the kindest people I've ever met. Extremely down to earth. I'm excited for their new albu

This CD is some kind of good! Several reasons. First, the "vibe" of the music is a retro folk-rock 70's vibe -- much in the vein of Fleetwood Mack. That was a fantastic decade of music, and this recording would fit right in. Second, while Josh's voice is really great, Nicole's voice is remarkable. She sounds a lot like Linda Ronstadt used to -- and that, friends, is a really, really, really big complement to pay ANY female singer!

Both pursued separate singing and music careers until 2009, when they joined forces after hearing Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' Raising Sand album. Realizing a vision that...
