This is good solid music. Sample it, maybe you remember the Mavericks, and you will love their new direction. I didn’t know them before today. What has me curious is people who say “This is country?” and leave a review at that. What a waste of space. Can people just learn to review the music or not?!?! Fusing traditional country with traditional rock & roll, the Mavericks became one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful groups of the early '90s. Led by singer/songwriter Raul Malo (born August 7, 1965, Miami, Florida), the band was formed in Florida in the late '80s.
