This sounds nothing like their previous records and for the people that complain about that you really need to understand the talent Baroness has put forth with this musical progression. This is not a extreme metal record at all! This is the art of music - a complete album full of textures, melody, and emotions. The BEST record of 2012 thus far and I can't see anyone topping it. I love this album, it is a bit of a different direction for Baroness, but still full of great guitar work and musicianship all together. Can't wait for the tour!!!
