Darn good set (4 stars)
I grew up listening to old John from the first I can remember and unlike my brothers who say John who? I own nearly all his work from the old 45s to this set on MP3. I thought this was a great compilation how ever the second set with only 4 songs was a let down. I will say that if your looking for a collection of the grandest songs that John Denver ever made this is your set. I love this set and it will always be high on my play list!

too much for two much (2 stars)
While I like the scope they try to acheive with this compilation - I don't want to pay the price and end up with 2 Annie's Songs and 2 Calypso's - both studio recordings. How about Annie's Other song and one of his environmental peices prior to his death? Sorry, lost a purchase there.

I have loved the artist since he began. His songs bring back great memories. But this album is poorly produced. There is no base, no depth to the sound. You'll do better with other albums.
