Revolution in female artists (5 stars)
Tamar DEFINITELY is about to start a new revolution in female artists...she doesn't just compete with females, she competes with artists like Drake, Kanye West, Jhene Aiko, Kendrick Lamar; people who are on top and making a statement with their lives. Alicia Keys is the perfect artist, but I think Tamar is about to set a bar higher than ever for female artists with this album. She has a variety of music instead of just one type of music all

TRUE R&B (5 stars)
It's been awhile since I can say that I have truly listened to a R&B albulm and have liked every track from start to finish. LOVE AND WAR is truly an amazing production that gives listeners both that loved ratchet sound to dance to and that True R&B vibe to chill to. This albulm is Tamar to the fullest...SHE DID THAT!!!!! CAN U SAY BET AWARDS AND GRAMMYS!!?!!!! THIS IS UR TIME TAMAR AND CONRATS ON EVERYTHING!!!!

Tamar Braxton's entry into the music industry came through her five-member sibling group, the Braxtons, which featured older sisters Traci, Trina, Towanda, and, most notably, Toni. The quartet released one single, the number 79 Billboard R&B single "Good Life," for Arista in 1990. The group was dropped, but Toni was subsequently signed by LaFace and featured her sisters as part of her backing group.
