It’s actually one of the strongest of Diana’s 80’s RCA albums — a nice update of her Motown sound for the mid-80’s. That said it wasn’t successful at the time, and until now it’s not been available digitally. This is a great reissue. The music sounds great (though some of it is a little dated with 80’s synthesizers), and it’s nice to have the additional tracks. If you factor in her work as the lead singer of the Supremes in the 1960s, she may be the most successful. With her friends Mary Wilson, Florence Ballard, and Barbara Martin, Ross formed the Primettes vocal quartet in 1959.
