Biography
Housefires are a Christian rock ensemble that formed in 2014 as part of the Grace Midtown Church worship community based in Atlanta, Georgia, a community that also included the likes of Hillsong United, Elevation Worship, and Rend Collective. The ensemble was primarily led by Matt Reynolds, lead pastor of Grace Midtown, and Pat Barrett, its lead singer/songwriter. Housefires' self-titled debut album was released the year that they were formed, with their subsequent records, Housefires II and Housefires III, being released in 2015 and 2016, respectively. All three records were released on Fuel Music. A fourth album, We Say Yes, was again captured live at Grace Midtown, and arrived in June 2017. ~ Liam Martin.
